Aftercare
- Wash your hands prior to washing your tattoo
- Wash your tattoo 3-5 times a day with antibacterial soap
- Air dry or pat it with a paper towel
- Apply a thin layer of A&D or Aquaphore
- Rub the ointment in thoroughly, DON'T just cake it on
- Dab off any excess with a paper towel and rub it in some more
- Don't be a pussy about it
- Wash your hands when you are done applying your ointment
- Be careful what your tattoo comes in contact with. Bacteria is lurking everywhere
- It will take 3-5 days to start getting dry and flaky
- Start applying an advanced healing lotion like Lubriderm or Curell
- Avoid soaking your tattoo in water or swimming for a few weeks
- Apply lotion to your tattoo daily for the rest of your life
- Always use sunblock to avoid fading your tattoo
